132nd Continental Congress Schedule & Website Now Available for Viewing

Pamela Wright, President General

I am delighted to share that the 132nd Continental Congress Website is now live! This year we are launching the Congress Website early to give Daughters the opportunity to review the tentative schedule and begin planning their Congress experience before Pre-Registration and select national event tickets go on sale on April 15, 2023.

Highlighted below are answers to common questions about the Congress Website to help you make the most of this invaluable resource.

How can I access the Congress Website?

We recommend using the web browsers Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to navigate to www.dar.org/Congress. You can access the Congress Website on your PC, tablet or phone.

What is featured on the Congress Website starting March 15?

The Congress Website will highlight the Tentative Draft 132nd Continental Congress Schedule. The Congress Schedule is constantly being updated, so don’t forget to check back periodically to find out more information about the entire Congress experience.

Congress events on the Congress Website can be found in two places: on the Schedule page and on the Ongoing Events page. The Schedule page has the detailed Tentative Draft 132nd Continental Congress Schedule including meal socials, club meetings, state gatherings, headquarters events, etc. The Ongoing Events page highlights recurring daily events that take place over the course of Congress. Ongoing events include DAR Library hours, Insignia, Junior Shoppe and President General Project Sales locations and hours, Congress Shops, and Onsite Check-in and Registration hours.

Helpful information about Washington, D.C., will also be featured on the Insider's Guide page, including transportation tips and dining options near DAR Headquarters and the JW Marriott, the host hotel for the 132nd Continental Congress.

When does Pre-Registration and select National event tickets go on sale?

Like last year, Congress Pre-Registration and the ability to purchase select National event tickets go on sale on the Congress Website starting on April 15, 2023. This date is also the last day that Chapters can credential Delegates and Alternates to vote during Continental Congress in Washington D.C. (Chapter leaders received Congress Credential information via email on February 21.)

I’m interested in purchasing a ticket to a state event. Why isn’t the payment information listed in the event description on the Congress Schedule?

Information to purchase tickets to state events (ticket websites and check-payable information) will be published on April 15, 2023, on the Congress Website, the same day Pre-Registration and select National event tickets go on sale. If you have questions about a specific event, please email the event contact listed in the event description.

Which National events are selling tickets through the Congress Website starting April 15?

This year the following National events are selling tickets through the Congress Website: Patriotism Luncheon, Historic Preservation Luncheon, Education Luncheon, Junior Membership Luncheon, Units Overseas Luncheon and Bazaar and the Congress Reception. All six of these events take place at the JW Marriott.

As we get closer to June, the Congress Website will continue to be updated with the latest information, including Pre-Registration Instructions and FAQ’s. I encourage you to check back often for updates.

Daughters, I can’t wait to welcome you back to Headquarters for the 132nd Continental Congress, June 28 – July 2, 2023. I look forward to seeing everyone sparkle and shine in our House Beautiful.
