What you have been waiting for: 131st Continental Congress Website Now Available!

Denise Doring VanBuren, President General

It has been three (long!) years since we gathered in person for Congress – and I can hardly express my excitement that plans are coming together for what promises to be an exhilarating reunion in June. And now (ta dah!) the 131st Continental Congress Website is ready to help you prepare for your arrival.

Everything you need to know about Congress can be found here on our new Congress website: www.dar.org/Congress.  You should recognize the look and feel of the site, which has been expanded from last year’s platform. I think that you will find it even more useful and easier to navigate than last year’s well-received site.

There is one major change: the Congress Website features Online Registration and online ticketing for the six large National Congress Events for all members. Everyone will now use this website to register themselves for Congress; please note that your chapter will no longer register you. Members have been requesting this ability to Register online for Congress for many years, and we’re delighted that it is one of several innovative improvements enhancing this year’s Congress experience. Those who choose not to Register online in advance will have the opportunity to Register on-site at DAR Headquarters during Congress week, but will pay higher fees (learn more here.) We strongly encourage you to Register online, in advance, in order to help us plan for what is projected to be a large turnout.

I am confident that you will find the Online Registration process very user friendly. For additional assistance, we have created instructions for the Registration process and prepared a document with additional questions and answers. If you need further assistance, please email [email protected].

The Congress Website features the Tentative Congress Schedule, where you can choose your social events to attend throughout the week; the Congress Insider’s Guide, with helpful links to information; details about Donor events and opportunities; and (of course!) Shopping.

A companion Congress App will also be released in June, but in the meantime, you can navigate this Congress Website with complete functionality on your mobile device, as well as your personal computers.

Also please note that as we work to make your Congress experience exceptional in every way, that the Congress Website will continue to be updated over the coming weeks. So, please make sure to check frequently and to monitor the Announcements section of our Members’ Website and the Today’s DAR Blog.

Our beautifully restored DAR Constitution Hall awaits your return. I welcome and encourage you to be a part of the first, and yet final, in-person Congress of my administration. Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm as we Rise and Shine for America!
